Week 2

Newton's Laws & Forces

Mastering the fundamental principles of dynamics and force analysis.

  • Newton's three laws of motion
  • Free body diagrams
  • Friction and tension
  • Inclined planes and pulleys
Week 3

Work, Energy & Power

Understanding energy principles and their applications in mechanics.

  • Work and work-energy theorem
  • Potential and kinetic energy
  • Conservation of energy
  • Power and efficiency
Week 4

Momentum & Collisions

Analyzing momentum conservation and collision problems.

  • Linear momentum
  • Impulse and impulse-momentum theorem
  • Elastic and inelastic collisions
  • Center of mass reference frame
Week 5

Rotational Dynamics

Extending mechanics principles to rotational motion.

  • Angular kinematics
  • Torque and moment of inertia
  • Rotational energy and angular momentum
  • Rolling motion without slipping
Week 6

Competition Preparation

Intensive practice with competition-style problems and test strategies.

  • F=ma past problems
  • Full-length mock exams
