Sigma Club Physics Training

Our Mission

Sigma Club was founded with a clear mission: to provide exceptional physics education that prepares students not only for competitions but for future success in STEM fields. We believe that physics is not just a subject to be studied, but a powerful way of thinking that develops problem-solving skills applicable to any challenge.

Our US Physics Olympiad Summer Prep Camp is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in the F=ma competition and advance to USAPhO. With experienced instructors, a carefully crafted curriculum, and a supportive learning environment, we help students achieve their highest potential.

Beyond competition preparation, we aim to foster a deep appreciation for physics and its applications in the real world. Our students don't just memorize formulas—they develop intuition, critical thinking, and analytical skills that will serve them throughout their academic and professional careers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What prerequisites are needed for the summer camp?

Students should have completed at least Algebra II and have a basic understanding of physics concepts. For the Elite track, prior competition experience or advanced coursework in physics is recommended.

How do the online sessions work?

Online students attend live sessions via Zoom with the same instructors and materials as in-person students. They can ask questions in real-time, participate in discussions, and receive the same personalized feedback on assignments.

What is the difference between the Advanced and Elite tracks?

The Advanced track provides comprehensive preparation for F=ma and introduction to USAPhO concepts. The Elite track offers more challenging material, smaller class size (max 8 students), individual coaching sessions, and is designed for students aiming for top USAPhO performance.
